Associate/Intermediate Level

MD-101 Exam:  Modern Desktop Administrator Associate [RETIRED]

The Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification will teach you how to implement, configure, protect, handle, and bear watch devices and applications for your clients in enterprise infrastructure. The skills you need for these exams are:

  • Windows installation and configuration
  • Handling network and storage
  • Manage Windows
  • Secure devices and info
  • Handle access, identity, policies, compliance, and profiles of configuration.

Again, just like the previous certification, you need to pass exams to be eligible for this certification: 

  • MD 100-exam: Windows Client
  • MD 101-exam: Managing Modern Desktops

Furthermore, you will also need to qualify for Exam MS-600: Building Applications and Solutions with Microsoft 365 Core Services for this certification. You should also have a fundamental knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Azure AD, and related concepts.
