In connection to the above example, the role of the teacher and head together is DevOps. DevOps is exactly the ‘developer’ and the ‘operator’. What DevOps does is create such teams, develop it according to the code you give and operate or function it. Instead of having 7 teams and managing them separately in your application, one DevOps will do the job. It’s time to pry on the cookbook phase of the course. Cookbooks are essentially pre-packaged infrastructure options. On the workbench, cookbooks are produced and then submitted to a Chef server. A run-list is a list of recipes and functions that Chef-client executes on a node in a way to deliver it into accordance with the strategy you specify. You will be taught to create, run and manage such cookbooks.
