The AZ-900 certification is the most accessible entry point into the Azure ecosystem. This AZ-900 course teaches cloud concepts, cloud economics, and Azure's core services, with no coding or prior IT experience needed. It is built around the Microsoft Azure Fundamentals exam syllabus, so you are ready to pass the AZ-900 exam on your first attempt. You get 360 practice questions, 84 video lectures, 73 hands-on labs, and an Azure sandbox, so you work with the concepts hands-on instead of only reading about them.
The highlight is the Final Test: hand-crafted questions that closely replicate the real exam, so the format and pacing already feel familiar by the time you sit it.
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals is Microsoft's entry-level cloud certification, built for people who are new to the cloud. Passing the AZ-900 exam proves you understand core cloud concepts, Azure services, security, and pricing, with no hands-on technical role required. Because the exam has no prerequisites, it is the usual first step before role-based Azure credentials like the Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

84 video lectures, around 9 hours, across 9 sections
73 hands-on labs, including 24 guided lab exercises built into the course
Azure sandbox for live, in-browser practice
AZ-900 cheat sheet for quick exam reference
24/7 support from our subject matter experts
This course is valid for 2 years from the date of purchase
The AZ-900 practice test set is the core of your prep: 360 questions across 20 tests, starting with a free 30-question test. Every Microsoft Azure Fundamentals practice test comes with clear explanations, so wrong answers stick. When your scores stay above 700/1000, take the Final Test, then book the exam with confidence. Download the AZ-900 cheat sheet for a fast recap.
To build up to that, start with the 84 video lectures in this AZ-900 online course to grasp cloud concepts, Azure architecture, and governance. Then use the 73 hands-on labs and the Azure sandbox to see them working in a real environment. For a deeper walkthrough of every topic, follow the AZ-900 exam guide.
The AZ-900 exam is built around three domains, and each one carries a different weight toward your score.
Describe cloud concepts (25 to 30%): Cloud computing models, benefits, and the shared responsibility model.
Describe Azure architecture and services (35 to 40%): Azure's core compute, networking, storage, database, and identity services.
Describe Azure management and governance (30 to 35%): Cost management, governance tools, and compliance features.
The course curriculum maps directly onto these three domains, from a cloud concepts overview, through the core Azure services, to cost management and governance. Every question on the AZ-900 exam maps back to one of the three, so the exam rewards a broad, working grasp of cloud and Azure rather than deep technical configuration.
The AZ-900 certification proves your foundational knowledge of cloud concepts and Microsoft Azure services. It is an accessible first step into cloud and a stepping stone toward role-based Azure certifications.
No prerequisites and no coding, so the AZ-900 certification is built for beginners starting in the cloud.
A recognized Microsoft credential that strengthens your cloud career prospects, whether you are starting out or switching fields.
The natural first step before the Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and other role-based Azure certifications.
The AZ-900 certification never expires, so it stays valid for the lifetime of the credential.
