Training Delivery Methodology

  • The book that will be followed throughout training will be Sun Certified Programmer for Java 6 Study Guide by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates.
  • While covering each chapter, 40% time will be for theory and 60% time will be for questions and exercises.
  • Candidates are expected to read the Chapter from the book before the training day in which it will be covered.

  • Day 1:
    Chapter 1 Declarations and Access Controls
    Chapter 2 Object Orientation
    Chapter 3 Assignments
  • Day 2:
    Chapter 4 Operators
    Chapter 5 Flow Control, Exceptions, and Assertions
  • Day 3:
    Chapter 7: Generics and Collections
    Chapter 6: Strings, I/O, Formatting and Parsing (String, StringBuilder and String Buffer, Serialization)
  • Day 4:
    Chapter 8: Inner Classes
    Chapter 9: Threads
    Chapter 10: Development
