How do I deliver the tests to my candidates?

Delivering Whizlabs tests is quick and simple. By sending an e-mail to the candidate with a URL and a license number provided by us, the candidate can complete the Registration process. After registration, the candidate needs to use the license number to activate the test(s).

 

What do I do if the candidate gets disconnected from the Internet while attempting an exam?

Whizlabs AMS reduces the dependability on net connection while the test is being conducted. Whizlabs AMS gets the complete test from the server before the test is started and saves report when the test is fully attempted or the allotted time duration is over. If the net connection gets disconnected while attempting the test, the candidate can reconnect without closing the browser window. It will not affect the result in any way.

 

In administration, if the Internet gets disconnected, do I have to login again?

Yes, if the Internet gets disconnected in administration, the need would be to login again and reach the page you were earlier viewing.

 

What is the total duration of the test?

The maximum duration of the test is 30 minutes.

 

What are the total numbers of questions?

Each test has a maximum of 25 questions. Since Whizlabs AMS works on Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT) technology, depending upon the individual’s performance the test can also end before the maximum no. of questions finish.

 

Can I move to the next question without attempting the current one?

No, the user has to attempt all the questions in sequence. Since CAT is used in Whizlabs AMS, the next question will be as per the performance in the current question.

 

Can the candidate go to a previous question while attempting the test?

No, since the test runs in CAT mode, the candidate can only move forward in the test. The next level of questions will be based on the earlier replies of the candidate.

 

How can the administrator view the result?

The administrator can refer to the "Report Management" section for viewing the reports. In this section, the different formats of the reports are included. This would lead to:

The candidates cannot view their result in pre employment testing, but the employees can see their score during employee evaluation, so that they are able to analyze themselves on the basis of their skills and prepare accordingly, in a better way. Can the HR manager get the report by mail?

What are Whizlabs ratings in evaluating the skills of the user?

Whizlabs provides ratings ranging from 1-5.
Candidates without any knowledge of the technology are rated as 1, and those who possess expert knowledge are rated as 5.
During self-assessment, the candidates rate themselves on a scale of 2-4, since '1' is not relevant and '5' is highly expert.

What is self-assessment?

Before taking the test, the candidates are required to self-assess their knowledge and experience in technology areas. For assessing their knowledge, use as a guide the following rating levels as per their descriptions. Candidates have to select a rating level FOR EACH technology area. This will ensure that the test starts from the desired level.

Candidate rate themselves on a scale of 2 to 4, depending upon their expertise in the technology area(s) against which they have to be assessed. They also specify the level of experience they possess in each of these technology areas.

 

What is benchmark reporting?

Benchmark reporting helps in benchmarking an employee's technical skills against the predefined organizational and industry standards.

 

What is a question wise report?

A question wise report enables the administrator to view the performance of all the users in a particular question. This also helps in checking the usefulness of the question.

 

What is a full view question?

Incase the user is not able to see the full question on a single page; he can use this option to see the full question in a single view.

 

Can a user take 2 tests on the same topic?

A user can take 2 tests on the same topic, but Whizlabs does not recommend this in case of pre employment testing. This is because, at the time of the test, the candidate has to self assess himself and based on that, he gets the questions from the database. So the first time the test is taken, AMS will be able to judge the candidate perfectly. But incase the administrator wants, they can take the test again.
